Valentine’s Day is the most romantic day of the year and is a chance to celebrate your love with our partner or friends.

Me? I am number one and always have been really. Now, don’t get me wrong, I am completely aware that number 2 is realistic but I don’t really care. When it comes to Valentine’s Day, I love celebrating the love and don’t mind spending a couple of pounds on Ginger for a card to show him that I appreciate him.
When it comes to presents, we do buy something for each other but nothing too expensive. This year was our second Valentine’s together and we decided to celebrate it how we did last year, with a gorgeous meal out together. We decided that this year we would visit our favourite place in the whole world to eat and the place that held our first ever date…
We put some effort in and dressed up a little. Ginger wore a shirt and I went for the denim skirt and a nice top combo. We had booked a table as, y’know, it’s Valentine’s Day and we expected it to be super busy.
We were not wrong.
We arrived on time and was instantly seated which was nice. With Bella Italia being our favourite place to eat, Ginger knew exactly what he was ordering. Meatballs for starter and BBQ chicken stuffed crust pizza for main. Sounds
Our food was delicious!
We were so full afterwards that we couldn’t even managed a dessert so decided on a stop off at Tesco on the way home to grab some white chocolate and honeycomb cookies. The best! Overall, we really enjoyed our night at Bella Italia and was not disappointed by the food, but we never have been if I am honest.
Now for the presents.
So I decided to treat Ginger to a pair of tickets to watch Wrestling. Super Slam Wrestling to be precise (blog post to be published all about our experience). He has been badgering me to watch wrestling with him on the TV and so I thought, screw it why not go one step further and buy him tickets to watch it live. The tickets went down a treat. I also bought him a goldfish (I will be posting a blog post all about Shark soon, don’t worry), a signed Busted CD and a multiple photo frame (obviously starring myself and Ginger).
Ginger, however, went one step further with his gift to myself. He bought me gorgeous earrings! I have been getting into wearing earrings lately but due to saving for a deposit for a house, I have had to buy cheap earrings. Ginger bought me some gorgeous expensive earrings from H Samuel. I love them to much and appreciate the thought he has put into buying them for me. He also bought me an American drink that I like and a couple of Dip Dabs… they are my favourite!
So, that is our second Valentine’s together in a nutshell. I cannot wait for next year already and hopefully many more to follow. Thank you Ginger! <3
