Final Day At Work | A New Start
What an emotional day. My final day at work before I begin my new job in five days time. It was a weird one because as excited as I am to be starting a new job, and hopefully my future career, I was sad to be leaving. I think if you have enjoyed working for somewhere for over a year and a half, that is pretty normal, really. One door closes and another one opens Leaving my job was that best thing for myself even though I was sad to be leaving. Due to my wanting to ‘fly the nest’ as people say, I was needing a full-time…

The Best Body Mist Out There | Only £1.49!
So… you want to smell good? (See what I did there? You will do soon!). So do I. As my current boss says, in his wisdom, you cannot control the way you look but one thing you can control is how you smell. And how true is that? I think the worst thing that can happen to me is that I smell and no-one informs me. That I walk around all day with people wrinkling their noses and not a single person mentions it. Am I the only one that would prefer someone to tell me that I smell so that I can change it? I do tend to…

District 14 Hull Comic Con | August 2018
I know what you’re thinking. Two Comic Cons in a month, you really are obsessed. We are maybe getting there but I don’t think we have quite earnt the title yet. When I was not interested in Comic Cons, I did not realise how many there were in a year, and that is just in Yorkshire. There are loads. Which we don’t mind, really, due to us enjoying them. The main reason we decided to visit this Comic Con, apart from Ginger’s and my brother’s obsession with Star Wars, was that it was free. Yes, you heard me, FREE. Now there is an incentive to check out anything. Everyone…

Review: Wetherspoons | The Admiral of the Humber – Hull #JustAThought
Whilst we were enjoying our day at Hull Pride on Saturday 21st July 2018, we decided to visit this Wetherspoons. It was tea-time (dinner if you’re Southern) and we were peckish. Somewhere cheap and cheerful? Wetherspoons here we come! As it normally is on a weekend, the Wetherspoons was super busy, mainly with people drinking for the night ahead rather than eating out. We headed up the stairs onto the roof terrace to enjoy the Summer evening heat. Even though the roof terrace was also popular, we easily managed to find a table for the three of us. We settled down and decided to use the app to order some…

Hull Pride 2018 | My Experience
My first ever pride. Yeah, that’s right. I’ve never been to Pride before and that is disgraceful, I know. To be honest I didn’t even realise Hull Pride was on in Hull until my friend, Joe, informed me. Obviously, I was quick to jump on the invite to go. Rallying up my two friends, Beth and Kim, we chose our outfits, kitted up with glitter and planned our trip to meet up with Joe and his boyfriend (who I was so excited to meet). I could not find any face jewels anywhere in town so I had to be creative. My mum is a card maker and so she has…

Little Mix UK Tour | July 2018
The second my friend, Joe, asked if I would enjoy seeing ‘Little Mix‘ live, I was excited to the max. I love ‘Little Mix‘ and have done since they were formed on the X-Factor. I think their music is energetic and so easy obsessable (did I just make up a word there? Yes, yes I did). I do not know anyone who can sit and listen to a ‘Little Mix‘ song and not sing along, whether it be out loud and proud, timid and under the breath or simply just in your head. They are so memorable. So, back to my original point, my friend asked me if I wanted…
