    London | January 2019

LONDON! I bloody love London, I really do, and I was lucky enough to visit once again. I visited London in December of 2017 with Ginger but this time it was my brother, Tom’s, turn. And the reason for this?   In terms of travel, we decided to travel via train from Doncaster, direct to London. Once again, the best time to look into your tickets is three months before. This is when the cheaper tickets become available from the Trainline.com and you can travel from London and back for as little as £25, as we did.   For our first day, we decided to check out the museums. Most…

Eden Camp, Malton | August 2018

For a while now, even maybe for a couple of months, myself and Ginger have been wanting to visit Eden Camp. Things just kept cropping up and so it was put further and further back on our list of things to do. However, a free day came around for us both and it was fate to hop in the car and head down to Eden Camp.   Situated in Malton, North Yorkshire, Eden Camp is a modern history theme museum which is dedicated to the Second World War and is based between the years of 1939 – 1945. The museum has been open for the past 30 years and, as Ginger…

How To Create Circle Images/ Photos Using Photoshop | Blog Improvements

I have not been blogging for, like, ages and ages. To be honest, I think it has only been about two months, which in the blogging world isn’t really that long. I still consider myself a beginner and I am constantly learning new things. One main aspect of being a blogger is checking out and supporting other fellow bloggers. When you do this, you also notice elements on their blog that look awesome and you get the ‘how do they do that? I want that‘ moment.   I came across one of these moments multiple times. I had noticed so many people had some of their images in a circle…

District 14 Hull Comic Con | August 2018

I know what you’re thinking. Two Comic Cons in a month, you really are obsessed. We are maybe getting there but I don’t think we have quite earnt the title yet. When I was not interested in Comic Cons, I did not realise how many there were in a year, and that is just in Yorkshire. There are loads. Which we don’t mind, really, due to us enjoying them.   The main reason we decided to visit this Comic Con, apart from Ginger’s and my brother’s obsession with Star Wars, was that it was free. Yes, you heard me, FREE. Now there is an incentive to check out anything. Everyone…

    Review: Burgers & More | Harrogate #JustAThought

I’m asking you to go back a while now, I know, but if you read my blog posts on the regular, then you may have seen that myself and Ginger went Llama Walking in Harrogate for my birthday. (If you haven’t already read the most awesome day of my life then just click here). We stayed over in Harrogate and so going out for food was essential for survival!   As it was my birthday, it was down to Ginger to choose where we went for food. As we visit different places often, we do try and find local places to try that we can’t find anywhere else. Just makes…

    Our One Year Anniversary

As I sit here typing this, I sit with a smile on my face knowing that I have had the greatest three day weekend with my best friend and my favourite person on the planet. My Ginger. A three day weekend of celebrating making a year together and celebrating our future years to come. They say the first year of a relationship is the hardest and if you can get through it then you can get through a further ten! Here’s to many more amazing years with my Ginger.   On the 10th August last year, Ginger and I sat in Bella Italia for our first date and we haven’t looked…

    Withernsea | June 2018

Coming back from holiday, there was a big shift between constant sun to classic UK weather. I’m not saying it was like the Arctic in the UK, but it was certainly not Turkey weather. That’s for sure. So when the weather forecast predicted a slightly decent day at the weekend, we were the first to jump on it. Ginger suggested we go to the beach and gave me a choice of Bridlington or Withernsea. When it comes to a trip to the beach, the obvious choice is either Bridlington or Scarborough for us. Always has been. So on this occasion, I thought why not try something different. Give Withernsea a…

My First Comic Con | June 2018

That’s right, I have never been to a Comic Con. I have heard so much about them, I have just never had anyone to go with really. Well, now I have my Ginger. A Ginger who is obsessed with Star Wars.   I mean OBSESSED.    So, obviously, as soon as we heard about a Comic Con coming to Scunthorpe, he had to go. I was more than willing to take him as I was intrigued by the entire thing myself. Hosted on the 17th June 2018, we planned our day and aimed to arrive at around 11am so we weren’t the first ones to arrive. Seeing as my brother has…

    Blackpool | May 2018

I know this post is a little late but considering that I hadn’t even downloaded WordPress by May this year, I feel like I can be let off a little bit. May is Ginger’s birthday and this year he turned 21! A big birthday, of course. So I decided to take him to Blackpool for a three day weekend, and what a weekend it was. We stayed at a lovely little B&B, a short walk from the tower, called ‘The Norwood‘. Reasonably priced, I didn’t expect anything extravagant but it impressed us both. Breakfast included and a beautiful room was what we were given and we couldn’t complain really.  …
