Travelling | Time To Take The Plunge?

I’ve always wanted to be one of those people. You know the ones who seem to be in an amazing far off place that you’ve never heard of before but makes you super jealous because you’re stuck at work. One of them people. The free, fun loving fellows. Travelling is one of them life long loves that many people have but never get to achieve or don’t have the guts to. Well I’m one of those hopeless people who don’t have the guts to actually do it. Even though I want to travel so bad I’m hopeless. There’s always been something I can convince myself is a good excuse not…

    Budapest | The Gallery

Hello and welcome to the Gallery. The Budapest Gallery, that is. The best birthday ever was served in Budapest with my brother. Now, as you can imagine, my new photographer side came out and there were images all around. Now, rather than spam you all with my many many images, I decided to dedicate a post to it.   So here we go…

    Budapest | March 2019

Okay, so, I’m really going to try and keep my excitement in but…   I WENT TO BUDAPEST FOR MY BIRTHDAY!   Sorry guys, I failed. As you can tell, I was super excited to have the opportunity to discover Budapest. Now, we went for four days and they were PACKED full of activities so this may be a slightly longer post than normal. But stay with me because I have all you need to know to have the BEST time in Budapest.    Myself and my brother, Tom, decided to celebrate my birthday by visiting Budapest. We chose to use the cheapest way possible and flew with Ryanair and…

MISSING | Where Did Sophie Go?

Hey folks!   So it’s been a while, I know, but I’m planning on getting back into the blogging scene as and when I can. Starting right here!   Where have I been?!?   Well, that is a good question and an easy one to answer really. I’ve been busy. I’ve just been too busy and not really had the time to blog but I have missed it so much and so it is time to get my act together and make some time. Got to make time for the things you enjoy, right? Because if not then why are we alive? Deep, Soph, deep.   Let’s move on…  …

Glasses Direct | Are They Too Good To Be True?

Glasses. Does anybody who has to wear them really like them? I know that I don’t and I have been wearing glasses since I was in year 4 at Primary School. Apart from anything else, I just don’t think I suit glasses and definitely do not have the face shape for them. I just think they ruin any look I try and go for but then at the same time, if I don’t wear them then I can’t see. Such issues.   I hate wearing glasses.   Unfortunately, it is just something that I have to do or I cannot see. I have tried the other option of contact lenses…

    Getting Old | Birthday Haul!

Aaaaand here we go again! Birthday time! It really doesn’t feel like two minutes since I was writing this post all about my Llama Walking. How time really does fly. A lot has happened in the past year and not all of it has been good but right now I am in a good place with every aspect of my life. What more could I want when turning 24!  Yeah, you heard right, I’m 24. I’m getting so old! So, this post isn’t exactly going to be about my birthday shenanigans. Shock horror! A birthday post that’s not about my birthday. I mean, it is but I’m going to discuss…

    London | January 2019

LONDON! I bloody love London, I really do, and I was lucky enough to visit once again. I visited London in December of 2017 with Ginger but this time it was my brother, Tom’s, turn. And the reason for this?   In terms of travel, we decided to travel via train from Doncaster, direct to London. Once again, the best time to look into your tickets is three months before. This is when the cheaper tickets become available from the Trainline.com and you can travel from London and back for as little as £25, as we did.   For our first day, we decided to check out the museums. Most…

Scratch and Sniff | ‘It’s The Small Things’ Series

Welcome to an instalment of my first short story series. ‘It’s The Small Things’ is a short story series featuring the running topic of death. This series shows the importance of decisions in our lives and portrays how one decision (a small thing) can cause our end. This series may be upsetting and/or graphic and may not be suitable for those easily upset. ‘”Spider, come on. You don’t need to do this.” Silvia pleaded, grasping Darren’s arm and pulling him back, with fail. “Please don’t do this.” “No,” he shouted, dismissing her grip. “I need to do this. I have to. He deserves it, the lying bastard. He could’ve got me killed,…

The Life Of Sophie | Let’s Catch Up

Hello! Its been a while, I know it has. Sometimes you just have to take some time away from things, no matter how much you enjoy them. But here I am people. I’m back. While I get back into the swing of things, I figured you might be interested in a catch-up with my life. An update on Sophie, you might say. If you’re not interested then you’re probably better off clicking the big red X at the top but I’d appreciate if you stuck with me, if only for a little while. So, if you have been following me for a while then you will know that I was…
