Aaaaand here we go again!
It really doesn’t feel like two minutes since I was writing this post all about my Llama Walking. How time really does fly. A lot has happened in the past year and not all of it has been good but right now I am in a good place with every aspect of my life. What more could I want when turning 24!
Yeah, you heard right, I’m 24.
I’m getting so old!
So, this post isn’t exactly going to be about my birthday shenanigans. Shock horror! A birthday post that’s not about my birthday. I mean, it is but I’m going to discuss *show off* what amazing presents my amazing friends and family bought for me. I have named it my Birthday Haul even though it’s not really a haul since I bought none of it. Now…
Where shall I start?
Let’s go ahead and start with the parents. Since myself and Tom bought our mum a spa voucher for her birthday last month, they decided to also do the same for me so we could go together and have some mother-daughter time. 6th April can’t come quick enough! My mum also bought me a super cute Unicorn cake and made me an unbelievably gorgeous wooden name set.
How cute is that?
When it comes to my brother, he decided to treat me while we were away for my birthday. A couple of months ago we had booked a trip away to Budapest and so he thought best (and rightly) to pay for my entrance into the Thermal Baths. Don’t worry, this will be touched on much more in my upcoming post!
FLAMINGOS! I bloody love flamingos and two of my best friends Danni and Emily not only wrapped all presents in Flamingo wrapping paper but also bought me some Flamingo slippers! The fact that they are also wearing a crown just made my birthday. As if that wasn’t enough, they also bought me a super cute photo frame showing our 24-year friendship journey.
Rebecca, Rebecca, Rebecca. You may remember her from my catch up post. I work with Becca and she really excelled at birthday presents. A car boot full! I can’t go into them all in detail here as this post will never stop. What I will say is that I loved and appreciated them all, especially seeing as though the theme seemed to be sausage dogs.
And now for Ginger!
Now, this was a mystery which was bugging me for ages. I hate not knowing what he has gotten me but at the same time, I like the surprise of not knowing. My clues were that I wanted one and I might need a bit of time to get used to it. Any ideas anyone? No me neither. Want to know what my gorgeus Ginger got me?
He bought me a bloody camera. How amazing is that? He is precious and I appreciate him so much. I love it and it is the best present ever. Now, alongside my camera, he also took me to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park to experience my camera in action. I’m going to go more into my amazing actual birthday day in my next post. It was a good one, I can tell you.
And that’s it from Sophie’s birthday treats.
Hope you didn’t get too jealous.
